Hognostications 2011 Season

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Hognostications 2011 Season

Post by Hoss »

OK all you ugly Bastages!!!!!

Who's ready for another season of Hognostications???

You have what it takes??

You think you can hognosticate better than your average hog?

BRING IT!!!!!!!

This is open to any and everyone who wants to have a little fun each week and see who can pick the winners during that week's matchups. The person at the end of the regular season with the highest win total will be crowned the 2011 Hognostication Champion. Not only do you get a cool avatar but people will shower you with adulations.
I will give you a little warning though. If you decide to bring it here you are matched up against the best hognosticators there are. Bar none. Most of our hognosticators continually beat out the so called “experts” every week and every season, so you are playing against the best.

Another warning, we are called HOGnosticators, not once in our history has the champion ever picked against the Redskins. You may be tempted, but I warn you that if you do, you do so with full understanding of the ramifications….public ridicule. No amount of explaining or whining will make it better. Choose as you will.

So with that said, look at the sticky on the top of this forum for each week’s Hognostication thread!
Happy Hognosticatin’ !!!

People may not remember exactly what you did

they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

I'd like to give it a try this season. Do I have to PM somebody or just post my picks in this thread?

Thanks for your reply brother.

Prior to every week's games I will submit a new thread in this forum, it will be a "sticky" at the top in which you will post your picks. After I post the new thread you will put your picks there. I will manually tally each weeks picks and add them to the running totals for the year. I will enter those tallies into a blog which I will link into each new week's thread.

Lots of fun but to be considered you have to enter each week. Keep in mind the adulations given when all said and done!

Oh, you know I'm in Hoss. I missed the heck out of this last year.

To everyone else, just like the Bambino calling his homer and Larry Bird asking the other guys who was shooting for second place in his 3rd and final 3-pt shooting contest, I am staking my claim RIGHT NOW to the championship avatar.

You heard it here first.

Thanks Hoss - looking forward to another season

bring it on brothers and sisters

<
<
<
< CHECK IT OUT
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I took it on tour, like the Stanley Cup. Isn't that what I was supposed to do?

Children children calm down ...

Order in the classroom, please.

Let me show you ONCE MORE how it is done CONSISTENTLY season after season after season throughout the entire history of this famous THN event.

You are welcome to borrow my picks.

If that were true, I wouldn't be the overall leader. Consistency is the key.
