This one comes out of left field. Bradshaw's market was late to develop, but now both the 'Skins and Bengals are being mentioned as possible suitors. He'd be a huge upgrade on Ryan Torain from both a skill and toughness perspective. If the Giants want to keep Bradshaw as part of their thunder and lightning backfield with Brandon Jacobs, they are going to have a fight on their hands.

I don't think he's really needed. I would rather we spend his money on a better lineman at RT.

Seems like every time some player isn't getting the attention he or his agent think he should, the Redskins suddenly are a team interested in them. Until he is signed, I look at it as one of those smoke screens invented by the agent or player.

I'm with you frank we got got good solid RBs that fit the zone blocking scheme bradshaw doesnt and he fumbles too much.....still wouldn't mind him pulling a bellichick and signing him and them trading him to a team that loses a rb before the trading deadline.....IF we can get him for cheap I know this might sound stupid but it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep him from the giants but who knows with all the linemen they cut. Just throwing this out here. I agree with frank on a RT tho maybe Ryan Harris or Jammal back

I'm almost never in favor of bringing in a veteran running back. Our offensive line is so bad right now, I don't see how he could help anyway. I would put all the Skins resources into the O-Line right now. We badly need everything except a LT.

Can't go wrong with Bradshaw, gotta steal him from the Giants. Theres posts all over the internet that we want him. I hope it's true. This team just keeps getting more great young players. Youth is something the Skins have been missing for years.

I am sure Bradshaw would do well running behind our o-line and John beck at QB. (insert Sarcasm) Teams are going to stack the box against us and make Beck beat them.

I say give Beck a chance, I read an article that said he can read defenses similar to Tom Brady. Shanny is giving him a chance, must see something. I hope he makes it. We need some home grown players, better then spending truck loads of money on someone elses trash.

Even though he's probably better than our current options, I'd rather we take a pass on him. Our RBs are good enough, or should have the chance to show that they are good enough, to handle duties this year. We've had worse prospects at RB going into a season: remember when it was Trung Candidate to start and Rock was our full time back before the end of the year?

True and I like Ryan Torain if he can stay healthy. If we don't get him, I hope he goes to Cincy....

If we were going to go after a vet like Bradshaw, with Torrian and Williams already on the roster, why did we spend two draft picks on running backs?

Torrian hasn't proved he can stay on the field and Williams has taken all his snaps at FB since camp started

True. But we traded for Hightower. So you would have to assume that he's most likely guaranteed a roster spot, same for Torrain. I'm not sure if we are out of the Bradshaw running, but even if we are, that still seems like way more running backs than we need. If we were intent on going after veterans, I could see drafting one rb, but two seems like it might turn out to be a waste.

Keep in mind that the hope is that 50% of the 12 are on the roster this year. Think that's why we we acquired guys at similar positions. 2 RBs, 2 WRs, etc.
