Haynesworth accused with sexual assault

Post by spudstr04 »

It's been a rough couple of weeks for Mr. Buttersworth!

NBC Washington reports that Albert Haynesworth has been accused of sexually assaulting a waitress at the W Hotel in D.C. over the weekend.

He's not been charged, but Haynesworth continues to stay in the police blotter on the heels of a simple assault charge two weeks ago. If Haynesworth was hoping for a trade, these off-field incidents will only make that harder for the Skins to pull off. At this point, we'd be shocked if he brought back more than a late-round pick. Haynesworth will appear in court on March 31.

LOL. More proof that this organization has absolutely no ability to judge the talent level OR character of players.

I'm no Albert-apologist, but let's wait till we hear a few more details before assuming this guy is guilty. It's pretty easy to make an accusation.

Remember how everybody piled on Sean Taylor before knowing the full story?

The guy is certainly out of here anyway, just a question of how much his trade value will plummet before Allen & Shanny can pull the trigger.

The team that was evaluating talent and character at the time of this aquisition is long gone.

But, then, let's not let facts get in the way of a perfectly good rant, eh?

More icing on the cake for Dan Snyder and team to make a case for refunding some of that money he received.

The existing evaluation team has continued to pay his salary and maintain him on the payroll, so they don't get any slack from me. Personally, I'd have cut his butt the moment he mouthed off to Shanny during that first meeting.

Perhaps that's why your opinion carries so much weight...

Nope, but it is simply another nail in the coffin of my Redskins fandom as things progress. Depending on when they get the CBA wrapped up, you guys could be lucky and I could be out of your hair permanently as early as the beginning of March.

Agreed. Please just make him go away. I just don't care anymore, just get rid of him. No team is going to trade for this guy.

Trust me, I won't. I'll be more than happy to leave you folks to the Communi-Socialist Football League that has been in place since 1994. Especially if Snyder actually votes to approve the sort of contract that I think will eventually come out of these negotiations.

Whaaa? I thought you were loooong gone months ago. The whole "I've had it" thing? Nothing was going to bring you back ....blah, blah blah.

What happened?

I'm surprised you can still find room to put more nails in it. According to you the coffin was sealed a long time ago . . .

LOL... at this point, it's a coffin made exclusively of 10 penny nails!

At this point it's time for the Redskins to get rid of Albert. I've been defending him for so long that now I'm just fed up with him.
