The Washington Post reports Washington Redskins OG Dave Fiore (knee) will not participate in this weekend's offseason workouts. Redskins team doctors have to decide whether Fiore, who has an arthritic condition in his knee, should retire for medical reasons.

The Washington Post reports Washington Redskins WR Laveranues Coles (toe) likely will not practice in the team's offseason workouts this weekend, but Coles has indicated he intends to persuade Redskins' officials to allow him to participate. Coles wants to begin adjusting to catching passes from Redskins left-handed QB Mark Brunell.

It would accelerate whatever we gave him for a signing bonus for the rest of his contract to this year, so it might hurt us. Who knows the parameters of his contract?

yep - 1.125 mil left over - but I thought retirement ended their obligation period which is why cutting Smith cost us the last year of his cap money.
