I know that this isn't directly related to the Skins, but I am sorry -- I had to post this. It doesn't look like OAK is providing JC with the patience the Skins (and our 4 wasted years) did. While I do not like kicking a guy when he is down, I do like being right.

After watching just 2 games this season, I think that it only reaffirms the position I took all last season that JC (and not the OL -- while they were bad, JC made them look even worse) was the major problem with our offense last year. Do you see how DM can manouver within the pocket (helping our OL) and see downfield? It is unreal and nice to finally know what it is like to have a quality QB. Personally, I think that DM's ability is making our OL look good -- especially when you see how poorly they run block (which will hopefully improve after they solidify as a unit; which may take 6 or so games).....
While we did lose the game yesterday, I (after yelling and being pissed for a couple hours because of the way it ended) didn't feel as helpless as I used to after a loss. There were a ton of positives (offensively) from that game. We scored and moved the ball well against a good defense -- something we haven't seen in maybe 5+ years. We played well against a top team and IMHO would win that game 7 out of 10 times.
Oakland not so patient on JC....

I pretty much agree with what you're saying. But I don't think you can truly compare McNabb behind this OL and Campbell behind the OL last year. Just look at how different it was for McNabb yesterday once Trent Williams got hurt. All of a sudden lots more pressure, and McNabb had to get into all of these quick drops. McNabb is definitely behind a better line this year than Campbell had last year.

Did you not notice that, when he had time, McNabb (on TWO occasions in one game) hit deep receivers in stride? We were lucky to see that from Campbell twice in one season. On a third, he was long by about 3 inches.
Campbell had opps to do that. Campbell invariably led recievers out of bounds, or forced them to slow down to wait for the ball... so even if they caught it, they weren't going any further.

I really don't know why this is being discussed #1 - in this forum. Shouldn't this be in "around the league?"
#2 - He's not on the Skins anymore. This is an entirely different team with a completely new offense, 3 of the 5 guys on the line are different and a proven offensive mind running the team who's won SB's.
Also - look at Oakland's offensive line and tell me how much they compare to ours from last year. The only difference is that Jason Campbell suffers from what I call Washington disorder. Patrick Ramsey continues to suffer from it. I just hope that barring injury, McNabb doesn't get it.

Yes this should be in around the league... markshark84 noted it wasn't Redskins related and someone will move it.

Correct again... After that performance by McNabb yesterday, then seeing this posted in HogWash I thought for sure "the Danny" had demanded he get JC back because Redskins fans just aren't use to QB play like that and I had missed a trade or something.

Campbell was always working with a completely new offense and Gibbs had a offensive mind... the guy coaching JC last year had a mind that was offensive ...
Let's just move on... to ATL ...

McNabb is go to go, you have to be drafted at QB by the Redskins to get WD, Sage is the only guy that was diagnosed with the disorder soon enough to benefit from having it.

In addition to Campbell and Ramsey, David Carr also suffers from Washington Disorder, and he didn't even play here! The Texans are the only other team dumb enough to do that to a young qb. Maybe it should be Washington-Houston disorder. Although Schaub seems immune. But he was traded, so he doesn't count.
