Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

All this does is confirm that the season is done. "Don't bother busting it, Chris... no point in risking your heath for this year." The only role we can play is to spoil it for others... and to mess up our position in the draft...

UKSF has it right... Sigh...

I think that the coaches wanted to use Fred more anyways along with Cooley and get them on the field at the same time. It's too bad they couldn't have done that sooner.

Wow. What's that, 9 or 10 players on I.R. with 5 games to go? Gotta give the Skins credit, man. They go out and play hard every week despite the fact that the logo should be changed to the red cross symbol.
Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)

Where was that "heart" when they had all their players, and were loosing to the dregs of the league?

I can't figure this team out.

I'm with you on this. The "team" played like crap early against the dregs and now, with all of these injuries, we see a lot of heart from them, all of them.

I hope they all recover and can play again at the level they're accustomed to (esp. Cooley, a fave of mine). This team has been bitten by the injury bug big time this year. Get well all!!!
You'll always be remembered Sean. R.I.P.

I think it's the best move. We're not contenders anymore. This gives Davis much needed time with the 1st team and he'll be that much more prepared for two TE sets that we really SHOULD be using next year. It also doesn't rush Cooley back risking reinjury.
...any given Sunday....

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

I think early on this year Davis was having his blocking issues so they didn't put him out there. Now he's forced to be there.

Really...because somebody told me..
It's not the coaches. It's the owner who say's his BUDDY is going to play. And look at his contract.

Sorry thought you were referring to the "buddy" quote. That's my nickname for CP. I wonder if Snyder calls CP buddy.

Let me tell you my thoughts on this ...

... they are playing for themselves ... for pride ... for their jobs ... for their dignity.

They may not be playing for the head coach or the owner or possibly even the fans.

Players and leaders like London Fletcher and Cartwright have made a difference. This is the ONE bright light coming out of this season. SPIRIT.

How can I not support them with all my strength? How can we not support the players on the field every single Sunday if they keep playing like this?

You get to know your team best under difficult circumstances than when things are nice and easy.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
