The Detroit Lions played host to OG David Loverne today. When asked to comment, Mike Martz said, "Who?"

Loverne recently changed agents and is seeking a 10-year $100,000,000 deal with an $18,000,000 signing bonus. "David Loverne is the round, mound of vanilla pounding thunder!" said, agent Don King.

Martz is considering the offer, even though it may mean the Rams will have to cut Marshall Faulk. Whiffs and blown assignments fit well into Martz's scheme. Loverne is said to be the lynch-pin to the future success of the St. Louis franchise.

'We're basically looking for Loverne to make up the difference in the decline of ticket sales with a sharp increase in hotdog sales.
