Former part time Redskin catching on with the Bears

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Former part time Redskin catching on with the Bears

Post by SkinsJock »

First of all let me say that I do not have a link but the "CBS Sportsline NFL Training Camp Report" reports that Devin Aramashodu is having a really great training camp for the Bears  Cutler says that he likes him and as they already have another "Devin" this guy is known as DA :?

sorry about this but I've never even heard of this guy (not that I know many of these new players anyway) and the report almost sounds like we should have known better

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

umm... the Bears are so thin at WR that Chris Berman from ESPN could pad up at WR for them.

Devin Aromashodu was a 7th round draft pick by the Dolphins in 2006. He was released and has since spent some time with the Colts, Texans, Skins and now plays for the Bears. Aromashodu isn't a real loss, it's just that the Bears have no one at WR.

Is Lloyd still playing for them, or is he gone by now? I still can't believe that his career looked so good before getting completely off track.

He was only on our PS. I think we set a league record last year for having players signed off our PS.

Yeah, and he's been playing pretty poorly there, too.

He's currently a Denver Bronco.

He hasn't played for Chicago since 07. He was signed and released by the Raiders last year and is now in the UFL.

thanks for the info guys - I totally agree with SkinsFreak point that almost anyone would probably look good to Cutler as they have nobody of note after Devin Hester and IMO he's an OK wideout - he has plenty of speed but he's a return specialist to me

I am sure that the Bears are excited to have a highly regarded QB but, it seemed to me anyway, that it came at a steep price and I am not that sure that Cutler is all that good. 8)

No doubt. I was just talking about the money in relation to AA's days with the Skins.

Edit: Of course, if it were your money, then that would mean you were the owner. Wouldn't really be that bad, would it? :-k

Heh. Well I think I'd be a good owner, but then again I just might have a biased view on this issue. . . .

Cutler looked pretty sharp last night. So THAT'S what a QB is....we never knew...

Aoromoshadu had a nifty catch too. The bears WR corps IS thin as mentioned earlier but might surprise more than a few teams. Some good young talent there.

BearSkins, are you worried about Favre being with the Vikings now, or does it not matter to you too much?

I think we are scheduled to play them in Nov and Dec so the only worry I have is favre not lasting until then... We have owned him pretty much since Lovie came to town but, converesely, Tarvaris Jackson has been better against us in recent years..

Funny to see the North be QB heavy. Rodgers, Cutler, Favre and the kid from Detroit. I hope we don't get away from the cold-weather blood n' snot too much.
