Boldin and Edwards on the block?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Boldin and Edwards on the block?

Post by Skinsfan55 »

The Giants and the Eagles were after these two guys in a trade... now they spent first round picks on WR's. The asking price for Boldin and Edwards might be low, do we go after one of thsoe guys using Thomas or Kelly and a pick as bait?

I would.

Think we could get Boldin for WR Kelly and our 2nd round pick next year? I doubt the Browns would do this deal.

I would not, based on that scenario - let's see who has a better feel for the decision makers at Redskins Park
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

It was bad value, but the Patriots set the bar at Cassel for a 2nd rounder. If we gave them a 2nd round pick from last season and another one it might be enough, or be close enough to get it done with another late rounder.

In any case, I think today's events put Boldin and Edwards into striking distance.
