He turned down that 6 year $30 million deal due to "personal reasons."

Even if they got Winfield, we would have signed him when he became a free agent in a few years. So they were only buying time anyway. You know how we like our Jets...

totally unneccessary surferskin, and won't be tolerated any more than it would be from Smizzy.

Check the other threads if you want to find out Smizzy's take on Winfield... don't call him out. It isn't adding anything to the board.

I don't CARE why Winfield didn't go to the Jets, this is a Redskins board and this is the Hog Wash forum... we have an around the League forum for anything non-Redskins... but calling a person out will not be tolerated there either.

We have the smack forum if you want to make it personal, otherwise, obey the rules.

Winfield declined the offer because he's being courted by Minnesota? It happens all of the time when players want more than they're worth. Snyder is a major contributer to the problem, but I'm glad to say he owns the Skins!

Personally i think its was a bad deal to begin with...10mil for a 5'9 CB who has 5iNTs in the last 5 season.

I do think that it makes Terry bradway look worse than he is,if thats possible...because he didn't close the deal...if you have your TOP FA prospect in you city,visiting your team and you don't close the deal,you Messed up.

Its is a blessing is disguise...he wasn't worth that kind of money we offered him...let Minny pay him more,thats fine with me.

My Fa targets are...E.Barton,M.logan,J.McCareins...so when they all go elswhere ill get upset.

I hope you guys get McCareins. I don't want to see him up 95 in green and white. I think he has got more talent than any receiver on the eagles roster.

Hey Boss don't usally get stuff from Canada.com on football but here it is. Heard it on the radio last night to. I think they may have signed him to an offer sheet so the Titians may be able to match the deal but I doubt they have the cap space anyway.

Yeah I think Minn needed this guy more than you guys. I dont remember if they have ever had decent corners.
