Rate Stephon's play.....

Post by tribeofjudah »

Needless to say, I turned it off with about 5 minutes left. I did see Heyer out there and he played tough.... didn't allow a sack - am I wrong?

This guy should have been on the field LONG AGO........

No but he did get beat and ended up holding on a play that would have been a first down.

I'm with ya ToJ. I shut it off before they scored.

Played Fallout 3 for a while before I decided to turn on the radio just after the 'Skins made it 17-10.

Strangely, I found it easier to take the Redskins loss while blowing the heads off of Super Mutants with my combat shotgun.

Theraputic? I think so...

He was better than Geisinger. T-Suggs actually went completely around him once before he got out his stance.

That was the 1st play. That's been discussed. A guy who doesn't play T against the likes of Suggs...did you expect anything else?
...any given Sunday....

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

Actually, I did. If you knew that it was his 1st play, and I knew it was his 1st play, don't you think that the Ravens knew it was his first play and brought the heat right over top of him? Why wouldn't you give him TE blocking help on that play? This is terrible coaching, much like asking "what down it is" to your assistant coach after running an awful 3rd and 6 call and bringing up 4th down.

Also, doesn't he get a paycheck just like Heyer? He was active when Fabini and Rhinehart weren't therefore, someone thought he could come in and play regardless of the situation.

So, in short...yes, I did expect better.

I guess the fact that he's an interior lineman and hasn't played T since his senior year (2004) doesn't matter, then. Context is always useful in comprehension.

Actually, sadly, I believe Kendall double-teamed the tackle with Rabach on that play, which seems silly to me. Terrible coaching, indeed. Geisinger did no worse than Samuels before him.

-Edit- Actually, my notes say that Kendall was part of a triple-team of the tackle, not a double-team as noted above.
