He can't, trust me. He never picks passes. Hardly anyone does really.
Springs does a pretty good job for me in that regard, but yes, DBs don't catch even a quarter of the passes they should in Madden. That's the only way it can keep the INT numbers even remotely realistic.

My problem is I'm going for the sack, and hit O to switch to the player closest to the QB, and always wind up hitting it just a fraction of a second after the QB releases the ball. The DB becomes the player I am then controlling, and he makes a dive that leaves the receiver totally uncovered.
