Torrence to the Saints

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Torrence to the Saints

Post by gibbs4president »

Torrence Finds Spot in New Orleans

Recently released cornerback Leigh Torrence was claimed off waivers by the Saints and Vikings, according to sources. He was awarded to New Orleans based on fact that they have a worse record.

Among the teams that expressed interest in having him visit had he become a free agent were the Patriots, Bears, Eagles and Ravens.

------

Good luck to him...

Amen, brother. It should have been Tryon looking for a Tryoutr even Malcolm Kelly to the IR would have made more sense.

Torrence wasn't my favorite guy in the secondary, but I don't think this was the smartest move we could have made. I see Torrence on the field more than Tryon and Tryon could have went to the PS. Oh well, good luck to him!!
...any given Sunday....

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!
