Hognostications Week 7

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Hognostications Week 7

Post by Hoss »

Wow, what happened last week? After failing to post this blog last week I ended up with a 6-8 record and the Skins lost. The only other time the Skins lost was week 1 when this blog wasn’t posted, because the hognostications weren’t up and running yet. So I’ve concluded that when I do not post my weekly hognostication thread the Skins lose. Sorry, it won’t happen again.

Check out the rest of my picks here.

Broncos, Cowpies and Panthers??? I am Hognosticating against them.

Broncos are too unreliable. Cowpies are a mess. Panthers go against the hottest QB in the NFL with Reggie Bush and Saints desperately need a win.

They might be close games though.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I'm throwing caution to the wind my friend.

You got one out of two so far. Reggie Bush will be out with an injury for at least a month. Monday Night is the decider. Impressive win for Carolina.

Might he have forgotten? I hope all esle is fine with him. There is a life outside of the Hognostications and this site after all. He signed off for the weekend on Friday.

Monday Night is the decider

I thought George W was the decider. People keep changing things. Stop it.

I made picks. I don't know why they didn't get posted. This really sucks, now I have to make up for a whole week of missed games.

Ouch. This thing might come down to the wire, brother. That's a lot of games you might have to recoup to get back in it.

No, but I never do. I'm sure I made my picks, but I can't be sure I submitted them. I don't blame THN. I was camping over the weekend, so I never confirmed my picks like I usually do. I'm sure I'll still win it all, I just have no more room for gambling on long shots. :(

Boss,
I would ask that I be given the Redskins victory, as I have never been an hognostitraitor, and that is the one pick I surely made. Still, I will understand if you think that gives an unfair advantage to my opponents.

This is one of the toughest crowds to go against. BigRD is a tough nut to crack. I have not been able to gain a game on him over the last few weeks. Floyd and FijiHog are tough cookies too. They know what they are doing.

The regular crowd is tough. Countertrey has this thing going with DesertSkin and they are putting a lot of thinking into their picks (with some good luck, I might add).

So, JSPB, you have your work cut out for you. I hope you make the playoffs. It would be strange not to have you there. By the way, I -always- receive an e-mail message confirming my picks.

OK, I can speak for you and your strong ethical principles: JSPB has NEVER been, nor he will ever be a yellow, coward and unprincipled HOGNOSTITRAITOR.

OK, I will.

Two more things:

1) Hoss 1/3, RiC 2/3.

2) Hoss, it is always good to open up a thread here in Around the League to initiate the discussions about the Hognostications each week. Could you please open up a thread here to advice us when your Blog is posted? I hear there is nothing wrong with unashamed self-promotion in this board. Dig it?
