Uniform Question
Do you guys know if the Redskins will use ALL-WHITE uniforms at home for the rest of the year? I prefer the more traditional, classic burgundy pants with white tops. Not a big fan of the all whites. Interesting side note: remember 2001? Marty's team that year wore the burgundy tops at home for pretty much every home game. That was the only time I can remember not wearing white jerseys at home...since at least 1980.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS. The finest team in the NFL because the FANS make it so.

Zorn had a pre-season release about this. He'll switch back once it cools off to the Burgandy jerseys. Just one more thing that JZ's thinking about. The man really is intense.
...any given Sunday....
RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

I don't have a link, but I do remember prior to the season they said they would wear the white jerseys for the first four home games, and burgundy for the last four.

Sorry he also said he has let the team decide which uniform to wear. As a team the players picked the white/white and since they have been winning they have wanted to keep wearing them. He stated he is not superstitous but understands some player are and has let the players decide as a team what they will wear. If I remember correctly it was on the Zorn show on the radio not t.v.

BurgUNDy.
BurgUNDy-
Not Burg and Y. IIRC that's a vaudeville duo still working the Catskills.
Thank you for your time

Redskins uniforms
I like the burgundy pants and white shirts. It's good to find out that the all white is for hot days.

FYI, they've never worn that combo and I pray they never do.
Now that Gibbs is gone, any chance they get back into wearing the retro (and in my mind, REAL) Redskins colors?

Can anybody here answer when they went to the shiny style burgundy pants? I remember back in the day they were more of a flat color, these days they look almost metallic they're so bright.
Thanks.
PS: Oh, yeah. I too hope never to see the burg on burg look. That would be bad and wrong... the white on white is a little dull, but the all-darks would look like something the Ravens would do. I like to think we're much better than that.
Thanks.

In the Bears case I'd say they are returning to their roots. Before they went to black pants in whatever year, they used to wear either white pants/white jerseys or white pants/black jerseys.
Or dark blue (?).

Sure they have. I think most recently when Marty was coach.
