Jones was suspended in April 2007 following an accumulation of arrests and legal problems, including his connection to a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club. He's been arrested SIX TIMES and involved in 12 incidents requiring police intervention since being drafted in the first round by Tennessee in 2005.

"I need to keep doing what I've been doing to get reinstated, staying with myself and my teammates and staying away from those knuckleheads and just stay focused."

Adam, why did it take 6 arrests and 12 incidents requiring police intervention for you to realize that you were hanging with knuckleheads?

I am not happy we now have to face him twice a season, but I am happy for Adam Jones that he is starting to get it. Some folks never get it and end up dead or in jail. While I hope the man falls flat on his face against us, I also hope his previous troubles are behind him.

I'm surprised Dallas didn't sign Chris Henry too. It seems Jerry Jones doesn't care about character, he wants to win at all costs. I don't think Adam Jones would've changed his behavior if the NFL hadn't suspended him...same thing for Tank Johnson. It sends the wrong message Jerry.

What makes you think he really HAS learned? Lets's wait till at least midseason before pronouncing him a changed man.

This guy will end up in trouble again - it is obvious from all the police reports that he did not learn from his earlier mistakes. I see him going back to the well as soon as he feels that he can get away with it again. This guy is just an accident waiting to happen.
