Career special teams player, more or less. Lots of heart, lots of effort, not much natural talent. If New England is willing to pay him, more power to Ade Jimoh.

No, but he was a good special-teamer and apparently had a positive impact on the team leadershipwise.
You gotta respect anyone who's scratched out a nice living on the fringes of the league like that. I bet Jimoh's made over 3.5 million dollars in the last 6 years.

i agree with that. the man always did try hard, he just wasnt gifted
Anyone remember when there was that poll or something of kids about the most famous #23 or something and Ade Jimoh won? I don't remember the exact details, but it was funny.

Not to bash Ade but if NE signed him, they must be worried about their CB situation. He's an okay 4th CB and ST player, but not a difference maker. Then the Pats sign Lynch..I'm thinking they're hurting in the DB area.
I don't believe you can turn these guys into all pros just becuase of the "system" -- IMO, defense is about, how good the front 7 is. If a team can get good pressure on the QB (e.g., without needing LB help) then average/marginal DB's look great. I remember the Giants and Bears of the 80's -- they didn't have all-pro DB's (okay, the Bears had Plank who was tough) but their front 7's were outstanding. The Pats have had a good front 7 for awhile and I believe their DBs are saved a little. Is it possible their front 7 is slipping?

they gotta be desperate. when they signed lynch i was wondering why they would add more age to that already old defense
So the pats picked up ol "OH NO JIMOH!" man that name brings back so many memories of being frustrated and upset at his lack of talent. Do your thing Jimoh!
