ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have signed defenseman Shaone Morrisonn to a one-year contract, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

I think that Shaone is just one of those 'hidden gems'. He's quietly becoming one of the most dependable defensemen in the bigs.
GMGM and Mr. Leonsis have really done a great job of building a young nucleus here, that will (hopefully) continue to grow into a powerhouse.
