A Cowboy's Fan Tribute

Post by Justice Hog »

I am taking a very good friend of mine, a Cowboys fan, to the last game of the year with me. He has seen how Sean Taylor's death has effected me.

Today he sent me an email saying this,

"I would like to wear my Cowboys #21 Deion Sanders jersey to the Redskins game and put Taylor's name over top of Sanders name to pay tribute. Would that be okay? Is that disrespectful?"

I told him that I thought the fans that tailgate with me would appreciate the gesture on his part and I hope I'm right about that. I, for one, think its a pretty cool thing for him to do.

That would actually be an excellent tribute, I think... why is it that Taylor wore 21? I'm pretty sure he was a huge fan of Sanders.

Justice, I think that would be a great gesture.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

Any fan of another team who wants to show respect for Sean Taylor is appreciated.

If he gets the same tattoo you did, that would be a nice gesture. ;)

I think wearing that Cowboys 21 and putting Taylor on it would be reaaaal sweet; cause no matter who he played for, we'd all feel the loss!
