Uh, actually it sounds like ey is sippin' the Hate-orade on Romo. Check that. He's taking big gulps of it.
No respect loss from ey here though. Whole lotta guys seem to dislike Romo. How can you not dislike a QB who smiles too much and seems to have way too much fun playing the game?
Anyways...next topic.
Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)

Um ... I really do not see much of an issue here ... I badly want to dislike Romo but I can't ... I even like watching him play ... sigh. This strikes me as less hatred and more ey finding it silly that a guy like Romo (read: clean-cut white guy) would say "we'll take the rock."

Romo is a helluva QB, I'll give respect where its due. But that smiling does make me want to haul off and hit him in his mouth. LOL. Kinda like a Phil Mickleson... No, it's not as bad as Phil.
Romo is a good QB, but that dam smile with those dimples has got to go. His over-bubblyness, cutsieness is just too sickening. He looks too much like a prissy boy to be a football player.
I think he looks like the waterboy when he puts his helmet on and smiles.
RIP 21

the guy is having fun both on the football field and out nailing anything that comes close to him off the field from Carrie Underwood to Jessica Simpson, to the skank Britney Spears. If it is true you only get 15 minutes of fame, don't waste the first 14 trying to be humble. All that being said, I personally feel he's a dork
I think what's cool about Tony is nothing was given to him at all. Most Cowboys fans are just as suprised (at his overnight success) as any fans are, and that's being real about it. Even the ones that pushed for Romo to get a shot back when Bledsoe called the shots could never see this happening anywhere close to this quickly. He's not the primadonna type either. Just a happy-go-lucky Wisconsin boy who happens to be one of the best QBs in the game today.
He's been a savior because our QB situation was looking sad at best.
And all the little crackhead Hollywood girls love him. What a life, huh?

I think he has a voice in his ear telling him when the camera is on him so he can do something "boyish" like wink at no one imparticular.
JC could be doing all the same stuff Romo does if he had that kind of protection and TO and Witten getting wide open on every other play.
C'mon, man. Don't try and take all the credit away from Romo. The guy has that "thing" that playmaking QBs have, man. He just does. And his mobility is a huge compliment to the same offensive line (minus Leonard Davis) that was getting Drew Bledsoe creamed every week, it seemed. They compliment each other just like Romo and the receivers compliment each other. Maybe you hate the dude's uniform and personality, but when speaking purely football, you have to give him some credit. He's made things happen from the time he got thrown into that Giants massacre. I'm just glad he didn't get shipped off before we realized what we had.

I might get crucified for saying this but, as a football fan, I really like watching Romo play. I obviously want him to throw 14 picks whenever he plays the Redskins but I like the guy and I enjoy the way that he plays the game.

I'm on the record, as well, for enjoying Romo's game. The man comes ready to play EVERY game. He looks like he ENJOYS playing the game all the time, even before the huge contract extension.
Let's pray, though, that he suffers an awful break-up with Jessica Simpson on Dec. 29th though, or a quarrel with T.O. the night before our game.

Sadly, because he's a Cowboys QB, I agree with you completely. He's fun to watch...when he's not playing the Redskins.
And I completely agree with RedeemedSkin in that he actually seems to like playing in the NFL. It's such a serious business that I can't really think of many other players (besides Brett Favre, who OF COURSE has fun playing football since he never gets any criticism whatsoever) who actually seem to like being in the NFL. Romo freaking loves it.
Plus, you have to give him respect, since he had a seriously heart-breaking screwup at the end of the Seattle playoff game...and he came right back the next year. Guy really puts bad plays behind him and gets over it fast. That kind of resilience amazes me.

Romo is playing the position really well - I have never really liked puke QBs but this guy is the real deal.
I said at the begining of the season that this team was a lot better with Phillips (and without Parcells) and with Romo playing better every game - I loved how he screwed up in that playoff game but really good QBs overcome those things - he is the best puke QB for a long while and will make the Redskins earn every victory
Campbell has more talent than Romo but he keeps it well hidden
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
