Ohio St @ Mich

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Ohio St @ Mich

Post by grampi »

You know, I've just about had it with sports all together. My Redskins suck every year, my Tigers suck every year except for last year when they just didn't bother to show up in the series, my Redwings choke every year in the play-offs, and now my Wolverines have lost for the fourth straight year to the cussed Buckeyes. Do you ever get the feeling our favorite sports teams exist only to rip our hearts out?

Wolverine fan here. I'm a native as well as an alum. There could be joy in Mudville, Bo Schembeckler's conservative grandmother calling the plays is rumored to be stepping down today.

What I can't figure out is what happened to him. Lloyd won Big Ten titles, Rose Bowls and the national championship then just lost his nerve. In the OSU game after the one downfield pass early he called two plays the rest of the first half. Hart up the middle and short sideline routes as if they were in some sort of trouble with the clock running out in the first half down 7-3. And Skins fans think GIBBS has gone too conservative.

Assuming he's leaving today, I will think highly of him once he's gone, and thank God he's GONE. If he doesn't I'm going to despise him while he's here and then go to plan A when he does finally, thankfully GO HOME!
Hail to the Redskins!

Maybe we'll get lucky and get the HC from LSU. That rumor is circulating.

Yes, that's been going on all year. Miles is a Wolverine. His quotes "denying" interest do nothing to stop speculation either. He says things like focusing on the job he has and not speculating rather then saying he's not leaving LSU.

My money is on Les Miles getting the job after the BCS season is over.

Michigan needs to be a national power. That is the way I always remembered them. To me they have just been mediocre the past few years.

I am sure Les Miles can help return Michigan to former glory.

My favorite Wolverine has got to be Charles Woodson. I wish the Skins could get Woodson, he is in my opinion the best corner in the league. He actually gets physical with the wide receivers.
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!

What's the big deal with Les Miles? The guy is not that impressive of a coach, man. He drove Oklahoma State fans crazy with his approach to the game, got lucky with the LSU job, and now is up for Michigan?

The NCAAF coaching carousel is truly a joke sometimes.
Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)
