Redskins Jersey

Post by ANT7088 »

So there's a 98% chance I'll be going to the game tomorrow! My cousin Pete (a Jets fan) got tickets close to or on the 50 yard line. Can't wait!!!!!

Anyway, I've got to buy a new jersey to wear & I'm tossed up. I think I'm leaning toward Sean Taylor, but I'm also thinking Chris Cooley or old school Darrell Green?

Help me out everyone, who should it be, who should I represent in NY for our Redskins?

I'll tell everyone 1 thing, if you hear only 1 Redskins fan screaming all day there, that'll be me!

Last game I went to, I should've got my butt kicked, I went crazy & abused the Giants fans. Then after we won I ran through the long tunnel they have to the parking lot and screamed "Redskins Rule" at the top of my lungs all the way through it! Everyone just pouted and kept walking, it was alot of fun & I'll do the same tomorrow.

I'll be sure to take pictures and if I do a decent job I'll be sure to post them all!

If it was me, I would go with the Sean Taylor jersey. Btw, I know two other Redskins fans going tomorrow, so you wont be alone.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

Go with your own name and jersey number. It's the only jersey guaranteed not to become outdated.

You're right! I've had a Lavar Arrington Jersey.......he's gone. Before that I had a Jeff George jersey......he's gone & I gave (mailed) the jersey to someone on this sight (I don't remember who though) & my latest waste of a jersey goes to A-Rod, that's a Yankees jersey that I'll never wear again! 2 or 3 hundred bucks I'll never get back, LOL

I'm still leaning toward Sean Taylor though!

This is a great option - http://www.jetsshop.com/jets/product.php?productid=17132&cat=364&page=1#tabs

That ought to confuse those Jets fans!

That would be great! I was also thinking maybe a Coles Skins Jersey. I know it would be cheap, and worth the fun. I do like the Riggins idea though

I too, am torn as to what jersey to buy. The last one I bought was Taylor #36....we all know how that turned out  I can't decide to update his, or get a Cooley one... I've too, have been thinking about just getting my own name/number. It'll always be accurate.

Go with the Cooley #47. He just signed his deal so he will be around at least four years. Get the #21 next year after he signs an extention.

Or go with the #30 Landry
In memorium Sean Taylor 1983-2007 R.I.P.

Darrell Green was a Redskin his whole career. It will never change which is why I suggested it. Sean Taylor is a beast but you never know what could happen?

Get a Pete Kendall one............ hehehe

Ex-jet, so it could be a burn on them. Or get a L. Coles one from his past Redskin stint.

So I went to EVERY store within a 15 mile radius & they've got NOTHING. I called other store further away (so I didn't waste time driving too far) & they had nothing. The only thing 1 of the stores had is a Portis kids size XL. I wouldn't get a Portis anyway & the kids size wouldn't fit either.

I guess I have to order 1 now, I wish I knew sooner I was going to the game.

I'll have to settle for 1 of my Redskins sweat shirts for tomorrow.

We're sitting between the 30 & 40 yard line, 4 rows from the front on the Redskins side (I was told).

Thanks for the help everyone I appreciate the suggestions.

Did it come with a free straw?
Dexter was a great player, and a very likeable person but he couldn't keep his nose clean. Of course, Lawrence Taylor had the same issue.

My personal favorite: Autographed John Riggins with SuperBowl XVII patch, kept framed, never worn and never will be.
