Why put the WAS@NE game on NFL relpay?

Post by dmwc »

Um I dont understande why they are going to put this on replay tommorrow... Not only do I not want to re watch the game, but who does, Tom Brady and Belichek and the rest of NE (team and fans). So you are going to be so in love with the NE that you have to replay that awful of a game... how about the NYG/MIA game in England or some other close, quality football game...

I dont understand...

HAIL! Sunday is coming
>>>IT STARTS WITH D and O LINEMEN, EVERY DOWN, EVERY GAME, EVERY SEASON<<<

RIP # 21!

Tired of people who think we need superstars at EVERY position to excel... we dont... just 53 guys who are tough an smart

They are probably trying to hype the New England - Indy game next weekend. For my part, I would love to see teh Colts win.

because the media is obsessed with the pats. NFL Replay is supposed to be for the closest and best games of the week.

I thought replay was meant to show close games? This is total B.S.!

This year has officially turned into "The Brady and Belechick Show". Unfortunately, the Skins are being made portrayed as this week's "sacrificial lamb" for the Beast of the Northeast. Personally, it's an insult to football fans to show that game again, but I understand that this is also about ratings and money, and everybody wants to see the Tom & Bill show right now. You'd think that they'd consider the fact that about 90% of the nation got the Pats/Skins game on Sunday and show something different. The Cleveland/St. Louis or Jax/TB games would've been nice to see.
Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)
----- TWO EASY -----

If you want to see an example of beautiful, nearly perfectly executed football, then the Pats-Skins game is a great example. It's too bad that we had to be the victims, but I understand why they would replay the game.

Didn't they replay our 35-7 victory against Dallas a couple of years ago?

It's because the league has no respect for this franchise nor this Head Coach......

It's part of hype of the Pats and part of showing everybody how inept Joe Gibbs has become. This game exposed something about GW in that in this game against this good team, he failed to make an adjustment. Teams hoping to take what the Pats and execute in the future will be unsuccessful because they are not the Pats. So GW, IMO, is getting a pass.

But Gibbs on the other hand.... Right now, this franchise is in a bad place. It's kind of similar to what is going on in college at Florida State. Bobby Bowden is so beloved and has bought them so much success, that they can't fire him now. He'll have to retire first. He has lost his feel for the game and has also lost the recruiting game. It's passed him by just like the NFL has passed Joe Gibbs by. Gibbs is so endeared by the fans here that he can't be fired all the while keeping this team behind. What's happening now reminds of watching those former great athletes that are well passed their prime and are embarassing themselves on the field of play.

If you take a good, long and hard look at what the HC has done in the past 3-4 years, you would probably be calling for his head. But because it's Joe Gibbs, he get's a free pass. ...
