I have to post the whole article because it is a pay link to ESPN Insiders. By winning games and winning big, starts to earn us respect. I am finally starting to read some positive stuff out there. We are starting to get other teams worried about playing the Redskins.

If the Washiongton Redskins' offense keeps clicking like it did in Sunday's 34-3 win over the Detroit Lions, the Redskins will be hard to beat. They certainly face a tougher test in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers, but offensive coordinator Al Saunders certainly called a great game against the Lions and the offense looked very impressive. Saunders used three running backs effectively in the running game and the passing game. Clinton Portis is the every-down back who runs the counter and power plays very well, and against Detroit he showed great pad level and balance that allowed him to gain extra yards after initial contact. Fullback Mike Sellers also made an impression on the Lions. Sellers is a physical brute who drags defenders forward with him and is also a surprisingly good route-runner with capable hands who can also line up as a tight end on occasion. Sellers ran a seam route from that position on Sunday and made a solid catch before punishing Detroit SS Kenoy Kennedy, who attempted to bring Sellers down with a high tackle. Ladell Betts also gained a few yards while spelling Portis, showing that the Redskins have a good option when Portis needs a break. The bottom line is that all three are physical runners who will take on defenders directly in order to gain positive yards.

That is a big help for Washington QB Jason Campbell, a former first-round pick who is living up to his potential under Saunders. Campbell is making all the throws necessary for the offense to succeed. Against the Lions he displayed enough touch to complete passes on the second level, accurately dropping the ball over the Detroit linebackers and into the hands of WR Antwaan Randle El and TE Chris Cool

ey and the rest of Washington's receivers are benefiting from Campbell's accuracy on the second level, and also his ability to throw the deep ball.

The combination of three-step drops and effective play-action passes gives Campbell a great chance to helping his team win games, and when you add in his athleticism he has the look of a quarterback who could lead his team to the postseason.

I'm thrilled to have Campbell. I believe he is proving a lot to the coaches and they should be more confident in letting him run this offense. JC has always been accurate passer. Gibbs said before they drafted him, they put together tape of every pass ever thrown by JC that was recorded, then commented on his ability to throw accurately. That pass to Sellers on that seam route was a thing of beauty and extremely accurate.

JC will be live on ESPN2 today at 10am.

Not to nitpick but you posted this comment at 10:16a.m. Was J.C. on before you posted the comment or am I missing something?

They talked about are O very well but forgot all about are D.But I think well be ending up DIV leaders if Cowboys can lose 2 games and we win 3 to get A lead.

But JC is getting better and well now have to focus on getting moss down the field much better and us running the ball better/

They talked about ARE but they didn't give him an "0" or a "D". The Pukes have to lose two DIVISION games for the Redskins to pass them in the divisional standings as of today. Moss has to be on the field to get down the field. Any time the Redskins need to improve their running game they can just call on that #45 guy. He's pretty good at creating positive plays.

I think Big Mike is a underrated FB that we didn't use at all last year and could of help us in the endzone better.But Moss is going down field and making real tough long catches but we need to also call screens on him and quick slants but ARE is are second string guy.

We thought ARE was a second string guy up until this season. I think his stats this season say he would be a first string receiver for most teams in the league this year.

We thought ARE was a second string guy up until this season. I think his stats this season say he would be a first string receiver for most teams in the league this year.

Heck he looked like are second string guy last year even if he was the 3rd string guy.Although lloyd is doing bad we should consider to release or get lucky and trade for a pick and start
keenen at 3rd.Cause we need guys who can catch a REC in every game not 1 game every 7 weeks.

Sellers is the most versatile of all of the players on the Offense, maybe even the team. If he keeps playing the way he has, he better make the trip to Hawiai in Feb. I can't think of another Full back in the NFL that brings as much to a team!

Sunday past proved to be what we as fans needed to see. Everyone played to the best of their abilities and it was great to see our Skins not blow a lead but go on to win the game in a dominating fashion. Next week will be an even better test and as long as our defense is playing like bullies, we should come away with a win.
