HOGNOSTICATIONS 2007: NFL Week 5

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Man, what a tough year so far. A lot of upsets. I know my picks have hit the toilet lately and I have to do everything I can to rebound. Thankfully, no one else has been doing exceptionally well so the leaders are still within reach.

My picks will be in on Friday. After such a dismal performance (even below TRO05 & TRO06 standards), I will wait for injury reports and such this week before picking.

Plus, those who are copying my picks will appreciate me more for it.

My apologies gang, I had a hard drive melt down earlier this week and i just can't update the picks like i normally do.

I have entered all of the picks that I've received to date - but this week, more than any other week, please check and make sure that your picks have been entered (on Saturday morning if they aren't posted - assume I didn't get them).

Thanks and best of luck.

Something must be going on because my operating system melted. I had to re-install -everything- from the operating system to applications to restore backup of information and data. Nice if one has nothing to do but an unnecessary nighmare otherwise.

By the way, I installed software that allows me to identify the location of servers I connect to. Franklin, Wisconsin???
Is this really a cheese head machine or what???

Frankly, I doubt it would make much difference whether my picks were updated or not, if we have another week like last week.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have two winners this week (so far):

cleg and Skinsrule84

They have become worthy members of the HALL OF SHAME. Two coward yellow TRAITORS picking against "their" own team.

Oh it will be a PLEASURE to rub it all over your faces throughout an entire week when we march victorious on Sunday and you end up SHAMELESSLY hiding your tail behind you legs, yellow COWARDS.

Bring it on, or rather, crawl it on worms.

How do I find out the weekly results and pool leaders? I know I'm not leading anything, since I forgot weeks 2 and 3, but I'm curious how close I could be...thanks

Hey, just because I picked against them doesn't mean I wont be cheering them on.

Might actually work in our favor, since last year I picked Washington every week in my yahoo pick em until i got fed up and picked the Saints to beat them...look what happed there :)

Meh, I missed a lot of weeks..

Wouldn't a win % system be better since some people started late?

No, playing on-time would be better, why would we penalize the people who followed the guidelines?

:hmm: I just do not understand this - as this is just a game between Redskins fans (for the most part) how a Redskins' fan can even attempt to justify picking against their team?

The yellow TRAITOR designation is not enough, IMO - any Redskins' fan that picks against the Redskins should not only not get a point for the "W" but should actually lose 2 if they are wrong

have a great weekend TRAITOR

HTTR
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

We've been doing Hognostications for a few years now. Anyone that missed a few weeks in the beginning of this season can stick out the rest and play next year. ;)
