helmit stickers

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Anyone know what those goofy green and other colored dots on the back of certain players helmets mean?

Maybe they're Belichick's latest spy-cam technology.

The green dots (found only on QBs, at least AFAIK) signify those players wired with headsets in their helmets. I haven't seen any other colored dots on other players.

I even heard that on a PAT if the qb is the holder he can't wear the helmet with the headset.

Hey, that's pretty interesting. Who wears it then, the kicker? Does anyone on ST wear it, or is it strictly for the offense?

The way it was explained in the Charlotte Observer was only the QB in an offensive set, non placekicking offensive set that is can wear the helmet with the headset.. I don't see the harm in the holder having the headset if he's the QB. Maybe that was changed because Romo blamed his fumble last year on the noise in the headset. Who knows.
