Smoot Tweaks Hamstring
Redskins Cornerback Fred Smoot injured his hamstring during practice Saturday and is listed as probable on the injury report for Monday's game in Philadelphia.
Tight end Todd Yoder is limited with an ankle injury and is also probable. Listed as questionable are defensive end Phillip Daniels, with a sprained foot and safety Pierson Prioleau, with a hamstring. Safety Vernon Fox is doubtful with a groin injury

I do like that spring is in the starting line up....but I am worried about nickel packages. With mcnab's scrambling ability he be able to put together more successful drives than he would have.
Does philly line in in 3 WR sets that often?

I'm not sure that we would have to worry about nickel pacakges. Macklin had a monster pre-season, and he's probably licking his chops to get a shot as some playing time.

preseason is still preseason... I hope youre right though. I didnt pay attention much during preseason. Did he ever go against a 1st team offense?

Smoot is still listed as probable also.. so what we will most likely see is Springs and Rogers starting with Smoot and Macklin rotating in the nickel spot .. that way we dont risk Smoot .. but he will still be a factor in this game IMO

Keep in mind that this may be just a ploy to possibly throw off their game plan.

Do the Eagles even have wide recievers? Isn't this the same team that had that guy, who ESPN called "alligator body"!?!?!??!
SO WHAT!?!?!?
Now if one of our linebackers had tweaked a hammy I'd be a little nervous, because of Westbrooke. But...............nevermind!

McNabb said this week on Comcast that he can move around in the pocket but still does'nt have the explosive running ability he had before the knee surgery, we'll see.

If we can beat them can not only give us an better chance but by having them possibly being out of playoff contention.

I like that kid, Avant, on the Eagles. Something about him...don't know what exactly.
