Hi Guys,
I will be going to my first redskins game against the cowboys in December (i stay in Scotland) I have my gameday ticket, can you tell me more about the VIP tailgate pass that you can get, for my first time would it be worthwhile going, or is the atmosphere better elsewhere.
Thanks Guys
Hoggie.

We are still finalizing the plans for the THN tailgate. I hope you'll at least stop by and say "Hey!" I've never been to the Tailgate Club party, so I can't help you there, although I've heard its nice.
RIP 21

Hoggie! Congrats. I hope your experience was better than mine for your first game. I saw Washington play Philly this past season and we lost. Too bad, but what was great was the experience of being at Fedex, hangin with Jansenfan, boss, Jake and sat with Redskin in Canada (RIC). One of the coolest things that happened is I was photographed with all of the Hoggettes. They hang out at thn.net tailgate party. It really was an awesome experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was a dream of mine from the time I was a child. I look forward to taking my son or daughter there one day. Enjoy yourself and take in everything. Make sure to bring a camera or you'll be ticked off.
Frankly, I find the tailgate club a little pricey but if you are looking for an easy tailgate set up it is that. No plannng, not schelping stuff all over the place etc. You get all you can eat BBQ which is usually ribs, hamburgers, sausages and chicken along with the typical sides like baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad etc. Free soft drinks and water. You still have to pay stadium prices for alchohol. (Beer, hard liquor & wine).
There are some games for the kids, the cheerleaders are there and 2 of them sign autographs (whoop-de wooo) There is also 1 or 2 former skins but normally no one i would put on the top 50 skins of all time list.
If you can find a good tailgate in the parking lot you will likely have better food, spend less $ and have a better time.

Just go with some people you know. Throw a grill in the back, bring some burgers, brats, cokes and a football. I went with my cousin the past two years to the Skins/Giants at Fed Ex. We through the stuff in the truck, found a cheap lot ($20) the first time, Another cousin bought a ticket last year, and it came with a lot pass in walking distance. The first year we walked like one block to the free shuttle stop. That was not bad. We brought our own food, drinks, and ball, and we had a blast!! I hope to go this year, but I have to get the tix. It will have to be the Dallas game b/c I will only be up there at Christmas. (That is where my family lives.) HAIL!!
