On occassion I officiate youth soccer games here in Maryland, and at a pretty competitive level. Sometimes, when I call the captains for the cointoss before the game, I decide to have them play rock paper scissors instead of having a coinflip to decide who gets to kick off. Whenever I do this, the players usually get pretty excited and actually enjoy it...so this got me thinking..........what if the NFL decided who gets the option for kicking/receiving the ball in overtime by having team captains square off in rock paper scissors?!?!
personally, i think it would make for exciting tv...what do you guys think?

On a slightly related note - I always loved the way the XFL STARTED games.
That was awesome.
How cool would that be for overtime in the Super Bowl?

That was a mad dash from the endzone line to midfield, right? Yeah, that was kinda cool.
