I have been hearing on espn and nfl network that several players have pitched to the NFL to have a 3 and out discipline schedule. I wanted to see what your feelings are.
Here is my opinion: NFL Players, as much as some refuse to believe, are given certain advantages legally that the average citizen is not. How on earth would any of us have gotten off the charges that Tank Johnson was charged of. I couldn't imagine not sitting in jail for the issues that Pacman Jones has had against him. These guys are a disgrace to the sport. With sooo many kids looking up to players, this is not what we want to have as role models for out kids. (lets not get on the whole, who should be a role model discussion) It has gotten out of hand that players run the league and the owners allow this to happen because all they really care about is making money and winning a super bowl. The reputation of the league is in jeopardy here and I appreciate players stepping up to correct this issue.

We wouldn't have. And neither has he - his case is still pending and when the outcome is know I am certain the NFL will take the appropriate action on him and I expect the Bears to cut him too. I'll be disgusted at any less.
