Are you saying the Tuna jumped off a sinking ship into a rowboat with a leak?
The Tuna never jumped off a sinking ship, this game has passed him by
and I think he now realizes it..Both in how the team reacts and plays in
game time situations..This milk the clock old school style went the way
of the Dodo years ago. Teams today would rather be high powered type
offenses..where you throw deep to your recievers go ahead by 30 or 40
points and then look ahead to killing the clock, After the game has been
secured. But Parcells ran it the way he wanted it, and just like T. Landry they are stuck in their ways. To old to want to change
This is what I think made Parcells decide to not return to Dallas next year
and call it quits now, He had no intentions on changing the offense in any
way..Sadly it would've meant a lot more disappointing loses and certain
doom in late December durin their previous collapses. Rather than face
that Parcells played it smart and walked away knowing he did do great
work, Just never delivered on his promise of winning a super bowl while
he coached the Cowboys
