This was a dumb move, Smith gets 6-7 sacks a year and now the Bengals have to pay him 7 or 8 mil for 07/08. He's not worth that kind of money, not even close.
Except for one thing -- he's one of 3 or 4 guys who DIDN'T get arrested on the Bengals last year..so hes one of their character guys.
He's an okay DE, no more.
