Well, I certainly had a good Super Bowl day!

My local bar had two Super Bowl pools going on - you know, those squares.

One was $100/square (I bought 3)
Another was $10/square (I bought 2)

On the $100 pool, along with the winning square, the person with the "opposite" square wins $250 each quarter. At the end of the game, the person with the squares surrounding he winning square each won $250.

Here's how I did.

1st quarter - $375.00 (hit the $10 pool and opposite box in the $100 pool)
2nd quarter - $500.00 (hit the $10 pool and opposite box in the $100 pool)
3rd quarter - Nothing
4th quarter - $500.00 (hit 2 surrounding boxes on the $100 pool)

Total winnings: $1,375.00

Of course, I bought all my friends at the bar 2 rounds of drinks, which knocked my winnings down...but it was worth it.

Needless to say, I was a very happy camper yesterday!

My friends and I quit watching the game from the 2nd-3rd quarter. We played TABOO and took pictures of ourselves acting crazy.
