trading our pick to pats

Post by spudstr04 »

I heard from someone on CBS Sportsline.com that the rumor is that we are trading our number 6 pick for the pats later 1st rounder and a 3rd rounder...or something like that....do any of you know about this?

I HIGHLY doubt there is any truth to this because A) There is no way that the Patriots were ever thinking about the Draft these past few days.

B) The Pats are a team that is built through the draft, especially the later rounds of the draft. And I can't see them making a splash like this when they won't even know who'll be available at #6.

The Pats always seem to find talent. They could sign a garbage man and make him a pro bowler.
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!

Wash pick is worth 1600 points the Pats would have to give us the #24 pick (700 pts) plus the #120 (4th Rd 56pts) their 1st in 2008 (800 pts) & their 4th rounder in 2008 (56 pts)

Don't see us doing that
