Hard to accept
I donated a pair of tickets (Eagles/Skins) to charity back in August. I just got a call for the guy who got them he had them in an envelope and accidentally shredded them. I called the ticket office and they said I have to pay full face value to get them reprinted...however if I was in premium seating I would not!!
Thanks Dan great operation you’re running over there!!

There are many true fans who would give and arm and a leg to go to a home Redskin game, myself included (never been to a home game). There is no excuse for shredding tickets, accidently or not. I don't see how the skins are in any way at fault here nor should it be their responsibility to fix the problem. No offense to you DEHog; you should be commended for your generous donation.
It's like when a kid gets an ice cream cone and takes the first lick, but he knocks the ice cream off the cone and it splats on the ground. I don't think the ice cream shop MUST replace the product. Sure, they probably would because it's the right thing to do. But I don't think they are obligated in any way, especially if a grown adult made the same mistake.

I refuse to believe the Redskins can't incur the MINOR printing costs here, I find the shredding thing odd but this is a multi-million dollar organization who has made an art-form of extracting every last penny from its fan base, reprinting a ticket is a no brainer.
RIP Sean Taylor

Maybe the shredded tickets will work. I remember many many years back we had tickets to a bullets game at the Cap Center... (Ok it was many many moons ago) those tickets met a wash machine however we too the ticket remnants to the ticket office and they printed us a new ticket. I think the entire matter is that you may have to prove that the tickets were actually destroyed. Not just "missing".
Well what more would you expect out of the "Worst Team" in the "Best Division"

It is all part of a not-so-secret CONSPIRACY!!!
Danny -always- figures out a way to squeeze the MOST out of the fans by providing the LEAST to them in return for it.
It is considered to be a profitable if not a good business by some, you know. Not me or you but at least one other richer person. Why does this issue remind me about the diamond-laced bottle of water sold this summer at Fan Appreciation Day or the 300 dollar jerseys? I do not know.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
Well it's not Dan Snyder's fault that the guy shredded his own tickets.... My family has had season tickets for years and we've never damaged any of them even once.
I think xhadow's advice is the guy's best bet. Worth a shot.

Fair enough.....It's probably not fair to treat some customers better than others. Being one of the "other" customers most of the time I can sympathize with you. It's one of the negatives of our "system", but I would not trade our (free enterprise) for any other.
Happy Thanksgiving

That's absolutely rediculous. Snyder should be ashamed of himself. All he does is put an inferior product on the field and charge rediculous prices for everything. I'm sure people remember how much they charged for water on fan "appreciation" day. I can understand charging a small fee for reprinting tickets but not the full face value.

Now THAT is a legitimate gripe.
I don't understand why they would tell you that honestly. Why make public that they have such an unfair policy.

Unless they had premium seating.

Your right! So instead of giving Dan Snyder any more of my money, I've decided to take the money and buy a plane ticket to Kansas City and joined my friend who has graciously offered to let me attend the Chiefs vs. Ravens game with him in one of the NFL greatest venues Arrowhead Stadium!!
