So, I was thinkin'......

Post by Justice Hog »

If a person is in love with someone with all of his heart.....

If he plans on marrying this girl.......

If he plans on taking her to the Falcons game on 12/3........

If he wants to propose marriage to her at the game.........

I wonder if he could somehow get the Redskins to put that "proposal" on the JUMBO TRON?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Something to think about.

I'll just say this to all of you attending the Falcons game.....

Keep your eyes posted on the JUMBO TRON just to see if that happens.

Would be pretty cool, don'tcha think?

That would be pretty sweet. If this does happen, I suggest you hold the wedding during half time during a future skins game. You can invite 90000 of your closest friends and have an open bar.

I'm guessing that it would involve lining Dan Snyder's pocket and I'm also curious why you'd ask a girl to marry you that you've never mentioned even once before?

I'm curious why you would even care if I ever mentioned a girl before that I was gonna marry? Geez. Some people don't necessarily put their bidness out there on the street, ya know?

Then again, if I intend to do this...maybe I would be putting my bidness out there, wouldn't I?

Sadly, the answer is no. I couldn't find anything on it, and I called FedEx and they had no idea, so I sent an email to Karl Swanson (before I knew better.) to ask about putting a birthday message on the jumbotron for Jackson's second birthday and I was told there was no way to do it.

Perhaps "someone's" best bet is to sit in the dream seat section and wait until they are on the Jumbotron and bust out the ring.

You've posted everything from your career changes to painting your truck. You also post Halloween Costumes, about dates, about drinking, playing in a band, the purchase of your 'dream seats'. Why would I think you wouldn't share this? I have NO idea!!!

Don't sweat Niki Hoss, I don't. If you actually took the time to read her posts to many of my previous comments to many threads, the girl just likes to bust on me for some God forsaken reason. I think it's a hobby of hers or something.

Instead of "Congrats JH, hope all goes well" she just chooses to second-guess me or challenge me. That's what she does. I don't know why, exactly.

I have nothing against her personally, but to me it's obvious she has something against me. Go figure.

Yeah, he's a real private guy, alright. Anyway, congratulations are in order here for LawyerBoy. Can we assume you found a way to keep the air in her until the ceremony is over? It would be awkward for the Best Man to have to stand there with a bicycle pump, wouldn't it?
Oh!! Best Man! How about SkinsFan55? He's been beside himself since the whole "Mike dumped me" thing.

Only do it at the game if you're sure of an affirmative reply. Anything else would be pretty embarrassing.

Congratulations if you get the right answer to that question. BUT ...

the key question is: Can she really sing Hail to the Redskins complete?

I wish you happiness.

Thanks! Dunno if she can sing that yet. Time will tell. She's not really an NFL fan so I guess I can try to "mold" her.

FYI, I contacted my Dream Seats sales REP and she said she's sending my request "up the chain of command". She said she made sure the folks at FED EX knew I was a Dream Seat holder (not that that will mean anything in the long run). We'll see what happens.

Hey, if I can't do it inside the stadium....I guess it'll make that day's "tailgate experience" that much more special. Regardless, whether it is inside the stadium or outside (at the tailgate), 12/3 will be the day!

Not to tread on your idea too much but if your gal isn't an NFL fan, you might consider proposing somewhere else (assuming the team OKs the idea) since she might not be as thrilled by it as you are ... and by somewhere else, I mean in a non-sports setting My 2 cents

I hear ya but, having never been to an NFL game before, she is completely pumped about the idea of attending the game with me. This, I think, will just add icing to the cake, ya know?

We'll see.
