I doubt anything will come of it even if they do investigate. It would be awesome if we can get some war crime charges against him though.

And why is that? Honestly? What good will it do for the U.S. to do that to its President?

What repurcussions do you figure will come about from that? Will terrorism stop because Bush is condemned or sentenced to death? Will radical muslims all of a sudden call a truce with the rest of the world?

Will the whole world all of a sudden be a melting pot of goodness, and happy times?

I wonder...

What good will it do? How about it's the right thing to do. His leadership or lack of has caused tremendous hardships across the globe and he should be held accountable for them. Who cares what good it does for the U.S. This would be benefical to the world....it is them who deserve to see him get just due not the U.S. population. It is them who are dying because of this man not the U.S. population. How about we think about the rest of the world for once and not just the fairtale land we call America. Other people outside of this country do exist you know.

So you would rather let him cut his cake and eat it too? Does capturing Saddam and killing him mean terrorism will stop? The answer is a resounding NO. But Saddam must still be held accountable same goes for Bush. I would expect the American population who is soooo gungho about "accountability" and "justice" to jump at the chance to punish another criminal...but as usual criminals only exist 'over there' right? He is a criminal and must be held accountable.

"What good will it do for the U.S. to do that to its President?"

What good did it do for Ford to pardon Nixon? Obviously, not much. What's to stop a President's tyranny if there are never any reprocussions? The President swears an oath to the Constitution. There's a reason for this.

Nice post man. I couldn't believe that question was even asked. That's like saying what good would it do the Germans to get rid of Hitler.

Not a comment on RS's question, but simply a statement of fact. The Germans didn't get rid of Hitler. Hitler got rid of Hitler because of the Allies attacks.

Yes this is true. But the German government at that time also was not known for being a stand up kind of guy you know? However, the U.S. is. America wants to create a Democratic world where tyrants do not exist, torchure is abolished and human rights is protected and those who commit such acts must answer to the world at least according to Bush himself.

That is why the American people should show the world that the LAW has no boundaries. That even one of their own can be held accountable. It would send a great message to the rest of the world. It would show that humanity and justice has no boundaries and no color but all men white, black, hispanic, asian, arab etc...must answer and abide by the law of the land.

Don't take my post as a rebutal to yours. I understand your point about the Germans and just wanted to add to it.

Why? What did I say that was so amusing. Do I make you laugh? Are you saying I'm some sort of clown here to amuse you? Well you're messing with the wrong pigeon fella. I'll show you funny.

I'm mean seriously though. Look at all the actions of Bush throughout his presidency. Now take those actions and replace the name George Bush with Saddam Hussien. Huh?...Huh? Now you feel me right. See add Saddam instead of Bush and blamo you have war crimes.

They do??

OMG ... sorry ... silly me. I guess my brother and cousin serving in Afghanistan and Iraq and my other brother serving in the Balkans (all of which were not only military actions we deemed necessary but also were intended to benefit Muslims) were serving a mission whose goal was to make all people's lives miserable in the end.

Silly me ...

I'll be curious to find out exactly what you think he should be tried for.

I've never said America is against Muslims. At least I hope I haven't said that. Bush on the other hand is an idiot.

It's not up to me, but obviously if an impeachment does occur it will involve offenses to our Constitution.

Probably none, since Pelosi wants Bush around to spark the needed investigations that could cost the Republicans huge losses for a decade. Only the tip of the the Republican criminal and treasonous iceberg has been exposed so far. A hard rain is gonna fall.

Aren't you the guy who thought the democrats could take neither the House nor Senate?
