Thanks 1 niksder!

In listening to Sonny after the game he was critical of the refs for not calling holding penalties (2, that were blatant) on Witten while the exact same call was made twice against the Redskins. I was thinking during the game that that line had to be doing some holding to give Romo that much time on so many plays
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Listen, I feel really bad for the Cowboys. They're a great team with great fans and deserve much more respect than they've been getting after this game!

The following quote sickens me:

The Washington season was saved -- for a week, at least -- by the grace of the blue star.

What a bunch of crap!!! Mr. les Carpenter must be a frickin' Pukes fan.

We weren't gifted anything. Our team played the Pukes all the way to 00:00. Unfortunately, Dallas thought 00:06 meant "Game Over".

Flat out, that team from Texas got out coached. Period.

Hey, Les Carpenter: :moon: !!!

While I like the article's bashing of Whitten's attitude, I hate the way that it phrased things, making it seem as if Dallas gave us that victory.

For every penalty, dropped pass, or missed 2 point conversion, you can also point to a Redskins red zone misfire, holding penalty calling back a bomb, dropped pass, or missed field goal.

Both teams fought hard, both teams made mistakes. This game was NOT handed to us by Dallas anymore than (had we lost) we would have handed it to them.

The Redskins won this game; it wasn't simply Dallas losing.

Whether Dallas lost it or we won it -- in the end the result is the same ----

WE WON!!!!

You just never know what turns a season around. A "lucky" win like that might be all it takes for us to go on a run, just like last year...

It's BEEN running. Of course, with all the dead weight we've lost in the past few weeks, you get your choice of seats.

We've been looking for a new driver for weeks, though. Know anyone who's reliable and has the stones to go the distance?

I'm going to take the optimistic path. I'm also a Terps fan and I've seen them turn their season around -- anything is possible. I saw what Joe Gibbs did his first time in DC and know he's a very smart and good coach.

You gotta believe. Sure, I'll take the wheel...anybody going with me? One warning -- Once this wagon leaves the station, the pessimist won't be allowed on!

See ya....

So was he also the idiot that missed the block on the FG Team? The article isn't clear about that.

I thought it was implied that it was Witten that missed the block.

Sounds like a Dallas Cowboy to me!

It was witten who lined up on Vincent. He blocked out instead of blocking the man in front and Vincent had a clear path. Also, Andre Carter may have gotten a piece of the ball as well, and should get credit for making a great play, since he gets bashed when he makes a bad one.

Agreed. Saw Carter's big 'ol paw on tivo replay and thought I was crazy since I was the only one thinking it.
