This post is exactly why Brandon has every right to dislike the fans of D.C. He is a class act and would never do this but in my book he had every right to.

You cannot blame Mark Brunnell in one breath for not throwing to a receiver that's open and then in the next, blame the receiver himself for not contributing? :hmm:

Brandon has not only made himself open on loads of occassions but he has also blocked for HUGE plays for Portis, Moss, and others on the team. Perhaps you do not deserve the right to post if you're going to base your dialouge on uneducated, unsubstaniated claims.

And this statement says it all.

hey hey hey claims?? claims?? uneducated?? its not an uneducated claim that he hasnt produced, wow hes been here 7 games and has 164 yards and no TDs and 50 of his yards came on one play. i dont care what the reason is, he dosnt deserve a show. now you can defend him as a way to defend this sites decision but dont tell me he deserves our praise.

I'm just curious what entitles you to make that determination. Deserve is derived from the Latin word deservire, which means to devote yourself. Brandon may not have all-world stats at this point but his devotion is without question. Frankly, I can't determine whether he "deserves our praise" but he gets mine for his extraordinary attempt to reach out to the fans. Further more, when all is said and done, I think Brandon will turn out to have been a huge bargain.

This post is as idiotic as the first. Receivers do more then catch the ball, first of all. Second of all a receiver cannot catch the ball if it is not thrown to him. You did not address the facts that I put forth in the first post I made. If you want to walk around stating your opinion and disregarding the ability of players because you 'feel like it'. Go right ahead, however I do not believe you have the right to decide who deserves what on this site or anywhere else where the NFL is concerned.

I am so sick and tired of people walking around here like they are entitled to the right to bash players/coaches. You are a fan. You live in a society where Free Speech is allowed. That does not make you right. And it certainly does not give you to discount all of the hard work and effort that not only goes into being an NFL player but also of the staff of this site and Brandon Lloyd for putting that show together. Not only is that post rude but it is downright childish.

Its very uneducated because the man has not had the ball thrown his way. The only thing the Lloyd can do is get open and once he does that its not up to him who gets that ball. Have you seen any of the games at all this year? When Lloyd doesn't have the ball in his hands he is making big blocks down field to pick up extra yards. Why don't you go back and watch all of the games and then come back to us with a educated response.

You do realize you're taking issue with one player making time to do a once weekly podcast, correct? It's not as if he's getting an HBO special. I can't fathom why a Redskins fan wouldn't appreciate a player taking the time to do that,

Just on a side note, do you realize that EVERYTHING on this site is brought to you on a volunteer basis. No one here gets one red penny to keep this effort up and running. No one gets anything to give up their free time to bring news and special features, like the Brandon Lloyd Show, to you. Ungrateful posts like the one you bad make me angry and rightfully so. I see what goes into making this place run. I see men who work this job, and don't kid yourself, it is a job, around their daily lifes to provide these things to you. I see people like Brandon Lloyd being dedicated enough to give up his free time to put something like this together so that he can connect with the average fan out there. If you cannot be grateful for this contribution off of the football field then you need to question why you are a fan at all. And a person with knowledge of positions and their responsibility on any given play would be able to see his contribution on the football field even with a QB who is not seeing that the man is WIDE OPEN and is failing to throw the ball in his direciton.

good argument but hes not the guy i want to have on a show, lets have ARE, a proven weapon, or brunell, a vet, or moss an explosive TD machine... i dont want a show as only a PR tool for the organization, "lets get lloyds name out there, he hasnt done much but the fans need to hear him speak."

now a portis show would rock, he speaks his mind anyhow, and has a lot to say, and he is a huge part of our team, a captain if i can use that word, his voice means more to me.

See, this is where your lack of knowledge about this site is limiting, I'm not going into details, suffice to say this is NOT an official Redskins thing, this is Lloyd, on his own, being a good guy plus the extraordinary dedication of JansenFan. That, in and of itself, should give you more than enough reason to appreciate the show and the participants.

Randle El has 18 receptions for 167 yards for an average of 9.3 yards a carry.
Brandon Lloyd has 11 receptions for 164 yards, with an average of 14.9 yards per carry.

These would be statistics. These would prove that your posts are unsubstaniated and uneducated. I'd take the guy with higher average on ANY day! As would any coach in the NFL. Their stats aside from the average are pretty darn similar but because Randle El is a joker and makes more headlines, he's the guy you want to hear from?? Sad, really really sad.

look, i realize he is a part of the team and can give us insite, i realize that the staff work really hard to make this site and to bring to the fans a plethora of football information insite and discussion. i didnt expect to have to defend my post this much, i guess i should have seen how big a deal it was for a privetly run site to get a guy like lloyd on the site. its a huge boon to the site and the community. so in the spirit of keeping the site free of dissention and bad PR, lets stop this thread so it will drop to the end of the list of threads. i like this site too much to allow us to keep this argument going which in the end will only serve to bring bad PR to the site which i love. agree to disagree in the spirit of our mutual love of the redskins

I'm telling you why this guy not only deserves this show but your respect. He's a damn good football player and once we get the QB situation settled, you will see what he can give this team.

I mean seriously, Brandon Lloyd is a Washington Redskin. He puts his heart, his sweat, his life into the team you (supposedly :roll:

) love. And he is taking time out of his day to stop by an unofficial Redskins FAN site to try and connect with the FANS.

And what about BH and the staff who probably worked tons of hours to set this up for us, the fans.

If you want to voice your opinion, cool, that's great. But I honestly cannot believe that a few of us posters here can actually be Redskin FANS with they stuff they post.
