Over Paid Pre-Madonna's
Here a few sections from an article in the washington post... I wonder if we'll ever figure out that it takes more than stepping on the field to win a game.........
""You get the feeling these days that Gibbs has become so mellow that if he heard that one of his grandchildren had wrecked the car, burned down the school and drowned the neighbors' cat, he would say, "Boy, that sure is an energetic kid.""
""If the Redskins think that they are currently an intense football team, it's conceivable that they are incorrect. Less than a half-hour before this game, about half the team walked through a tunnel onto the field for warmups. A handful of players tried to make little pep-talk noises. The large majority were silent, expressionless while some laughed and chatted. Yes, it's pro ball, grown men earning a living, not high school or college kids jumping around at a bonfire rally. But playing it cool isn't working.""
""The most visible problems so far this season have been with the mental mistakes that lead to ludicrous scenes like a team being forced to kick off from the shadow of its own goal post. But the deeper problems may be in the heart, not the head. Some of us remember Gibbs's old teams up close, how they carried themselves in a tunnel before a game, responded to challenges to start the second half and even how their furious faces looked in a losing locker room.
Any resemblance between these Redskins and those is purely coincidental.""

It's fairly well known that the Post has a....oh, shall we say a dislike for the Redskins. So I'd take what they say with a grain of salt. That being said, when you're being paid a lot, and not performing, you are, by definition, overpaid. Whether they were overpaid before or after Madonna, I have no idea.

So, is this thread asking "Are we over the players paid to be before Madonna?"
Or is it "Over and above the pre-Madonna-era paid player. . ."
Or is it "Pre-Maddona's paid days are over!"?
Well, whatever the question is, I'm fairly confident that the Post doesn't have the best answers. They take Gibbs' press conference repsonses to be his actual coaching strategies laid out for all to see. My guess is they would be happier if Gibbs was dropping f-bombs and cursing his players. . .because at least then they'd have more controversy to cover.

Pre-Madonna is 1982.
Or possibly c. 16BC
Or possibly mid-rennaissance.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Madonna was on Oprah this week, Thanks for bringing me up to speed. She was on Headline News today- miss that too.
I knew she had adopted a baby recently, I had know idea it was making that much coin before she adopted him/her.
Can a orphan reject a adoption due to a cut in pay?

Gibbs is so mellow if his grandchildren did all that and burnt down a church he'd say " I think it's all of us together, and I think when you look at it Starts with me"
