The Oline...has it ever been worse?

I honestly can't remember seeing our line this bad. They truly suck...hard.

Hopefully its just that they don't know the schemes and are confused but wow...

Exactly, sure Brunell had a terrible game, but he has his O-Linemen to thank for that.

I mean, I honestly think Chris Samuels was afraid to block DeMarcus Ware tonight.

Our O-Line has some talent, but what they need is a mean streak, or else they are just going to get pushed around all season.

Six sacks, far more hurries, no holes for the running backs, etc. They truly suck.

I suppose it doesn't, it just backs up what I said. When did we look worse?

look, don't blame the oline for our performance tonight. the cowgirls' secondary caused brunell to hold the ball too long. an OL has a well defined number of seconds to pass block his man. its the qb who as to get the ball out.

check it, this offense is NEW. despite all the big name players and coaches. it's going to take time. listen to gibbs he's not worried one bit. he know's they're just getting started.

everyone just breathe, relax and let this new offense develop.

Don't make me think through the last 10 years of Dallas games, now. . .my night is bad enough ;)

It has looked worse and it will look worse in the future. That's just the way of things.

Well in fairness I've only been watching the skins since 1976, but in that time I don't think our Oline has been worse than this. As bad? Sure, a few times, but not worse. Really, it would be very very hard to look worse than that.

did you just watch the game I watched ?? We had guys open... our O-line let the speed rushers from the outside get right to Brunell as he was completing the las step of his drop back. He either got sacked right there or he steps up into another sack.

The O-line was raped repeatedly by the Cowgirls D-line...

The Cowgirls Secondary barely had to play at all..

also...the "they are just getting started" doesn't work for me either...

This is not MLB where you play over 100 games per year. We get 16 games... thats it !! When you start out 0-2 in the division that we're in and 1 of those losses is to a division rival it hurts you even more.

Can we pull it out and turn in a Chicago or Seahawk 2005 performance and rattle off a bunch of wins in a row? Sure can... but we need to see the Dr. Jekyll to this team's Hyde in order to do that ...

In preseason games when the O-line fodder you know aren't going to make the team are playing...

It looked worse than this ... but not much...

Well in fairness, given the number of false starts, at least the Cowboys Dline was offering Vasaline when they raped them, as the Redskins Oline where pretty damn sure they were coming.

Yes, the o-line looked bad tonight, and it's worse that it happened against Dallas.

As long as the team learns from its mistakes over the past two games, we will see a much improved unit the rest of the way, and we will raise some eyebrows, for sure.

So if I paraphrase your post, you're basically saying, "We couldn't possibly be worse than this so the next game has GOT to be better than this!!!"

Sure, perhaps we could "raise eyebrows" with, say, a touchdown once every few games.

That would be just peachy !! I love having a star -studded offense with a million-dollar Offensive coach on the payroll and getting the offensive production we've seen in the past two games.

Very true...

I'd have to invent new and different ways to doodle frowning faces on the checks too !!!

Hmm, how would this be worse? The guy cutting the paychecks has the most profitable team in the league. Sign me up for that job. NOW!!!

Are you SURE you'd like to be THAT guy right about now??? Allo week long, Jerrah is gonna be calling him to say "scoreboard". That's gotta suck. Jerrah... :puke:

Dallas' secondary sucks, ok we had Randle El vs Terrance Newman one on one all night whenever we wanted and our quarterback the one who shall not be mentioned could'nt find him, or anyone else with a number in the 80's

I may in the minority here, but I didn't see the poor line play that many here did. They did okay, not great. I thought there were several plays where Brunell had a normal amount of time to throw, but didn't connect. Otherwise, the brilliant 'run-run-throw' strategy made third downs very difficult for all.

If people think O-line play is bad now, it's only going to get worse as teams figure out you don't need to keep safeties deep against Brunell. If there's no need to fear the long ball, we're going to see more blitzes and more sacks.

dallass did that last night. thats why the run game never got going. boonell never even attempted to throw anything beyond the 8 and 9 man box, so it was an easy choice for the pukes.

with saunders rep, i don't believe that none of the plays had deep options, i do however question the guy pulling the trigger on those plays.

The offensive line is always gonna look bad when you have a washed up QB who cant even throw ONE ball deep to stretch the defense out. I saw Brunell run into the pash rush on a number of occasions and saw defensive lineman catch #8 from behind.....300lb lineman are faster than this washed up bum.....what can we do to change Gibbs fascination with this guy? YOU CANNOT WIN A FOOTBALL WITH THIS GUY QBing.....PERIOD.
