Stephon Marbury Takes on the Sneaker Industry

Post by REDEEMEDSKIN »

Attention all shoppers:

Check out this story on Stephon Marbury's sneaker revolution:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2551942

For someone who has not paid morethn $29.99 for a pair of sneakers since 1999, this sounds like it's right up my alley. It's crazy enough that it just might work.

Stay tuned.
Back and better than ever!

I am not into basketball that much or who endorses them. I am for cheap shoes. If they are functional and look good, I am all for it. I voted yes by the way.

Hey kids, you too can be a shoot-first point guard who refers to himself as 'Starburry' and all for just $14.99! Act now and we'll include the 99 cent Stevie Franchise 'Passing Is For Losers' socks!

I got a "leather" Maryland jacket at Steve and Barry's for $7.95. I wore it a few times but the "leather" smell was too much for me to take.

Same here! It smells like strong dry cleaning.

For $7.95 the sweat shirts are great.

I love how you pretend it bothered you. You only stopped wearing it because of Jackson and I! :-P

The t-shirts are a good deal too and some of them are pretty funny.

Hey guys, as the Store Manager of Steve and Barry's, I can tell you that these sneakers are the real deal!! Even if you dont play basketball ( or even active for that matter), they also offer several low top shoes. I have worked in upper management at several other Retailers ( Macy's, Dillards, etc..), and I can honestly tell you that these shoes, as well as the other apparel in our store, is the same cloth, stitching, etc.. as the high price name brands. It is all about how much profit you want to make off of the customer.
Taylor and Landry will take no Prisoners!! - I just can't bring myself to delete it!
