The injuries, especially combined with those in TC have me worried. Bright spots were:
1) Espy
2) Eubanks- looked the best of backup CB'a
3) Campbell- good arm, feet & poise
4) McIntosh- I think he'll be ready to start by opening day.

Also Joe Sykes showed that he can play at this level, although I don't see him beating out Evans for the 4th (& last) DE spot.
McCune put himself in good position to make the team.

the 1st string defense played with a passion. i think we will do well. the offense was very vanilla.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

Eubanks? OMG he was terrible. He'll get called for illegal contact ever time someone tries to run by him... and what was that attempt at a tackle when he dove at the RB's legs with his eyes closed and his arms by his side... nothing but air. He would've been cut after about three series if the rest of the back-up DBs didn't look just as bad...

c. Chris Clemons
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

CB's 1st job is to cover WR's. From what I saw he did that pretty well.

I am on the brink of tears over what happened to Portis. The others are bad but this is a tragedy.
I miss you 21.

God I wish we had a second round pick.

Poll Update:

A game I had no business playing in"– C. Portis - How do you feel about the comment?

He was just frustrated with the injury 8

He has a point (make the regular season longer, no pre-season) 4

Pre season is for backups - starter should be able to choose when they play 3

It was his fault, It was a meaningless game 1

He must play in the pre-season (this is just part of the game) 1

Total votes: 17

Most people beleive He was just frustrated with the injury I wonder how Gibbs feels about the comment
