MVP Baseball 2005

Post by Kentucky Fried Hog »

Has anybody here played this game? I just bought it yesterday ($15) and am getting frustrated. Nearly everytime I get a man on first base, he automatically tries to steal second on the next pitch. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I didn't see anything in the user's guide so I wanted to ask my fellow gaming Hogs.

If you are holding down the up button that will make your guy steel each time
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

Hmmm, come to think of it, I do sometimes press the up button while batting. I remember in an older EA baseball game you had to press the up button while batting to get power behind your swing. Thanks Sir_Monk.
