Brandon Lloyd and Ladell Betts

Post by Human Joystick »

Both graduated from same high school in Kansas City area. Blue Springs HS is a usual powerhouse in the area.

You could've posted this in the Official Press Conference Thread...but okay....

I don't think he was posting this from the p[ress conference, but rather from personal knowledge.

okay..i'm not a part of the "staff" ..so I won't try to interject. But JGibbs did mention Betts and Lloyd going to the same HS at the beginning of Lloyd's Press Conference.

Perfectly understandable, however this gentleman is a Chiefs fan, and likely didn't know it was mentioned in the press conference.

I appreciate you sticking up for the board, I was merely pointing out that in this case, it was likely justified.

Hahahahah...this is interesting...I kind of want to find out where this Chiefs fan got this knowledge now. Hey Mr. Joystick....where'd you find out about Betts and Lloyd going to the same HS?

Ahhhhhhh...the things we talk about during the offseason. :)

Exactly one minute after it was mentioned by Joe Gibbs. I was looking and listening at the same time. Maybe it was just coincidence.

The Truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Yes, I'm from KC and DEHog is a buddy from the AF days. He even came out to see the Chefs beat up on your Skins. I come to the hogs site just to see what's going on over there. Not a big Skins fan but I'm more of one now than before. Both Betts and Lloyd were standouts in the KC area. I'm not sure if they played together though. Blue Springs is the next town east of where I live and I have some friends whose kids go to that high school.

It had to be a coinkydink because I posted it at work and not near a TV. Weird huh?

Well, to be "politically correct" it was not on TV, it was on redskins.com, first!
