Browns | Team interested in Arrington; but is the feeling mutual? Thu, 9 Mar 2006 06:21:58 -0800
Tony Grossi, of the Plain Dealer, reports the Cleveland Browns have called agent Carl Poston to express an interest in free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins), but the question now is whether Arrington has interest in them. "Yes, they have called to ask if he's going to be available, and the kind of interest he'd have in Cleveland," agent Carl Poston said Wednesday. March 8. "I told them he wants to wait for the collective bargaining agreement to be done." Poston said Arrington will not visit a team unless it proves it is serious first. Poston said that a team's head coach, its defensive system, its city and money "all come into play" in attracting Arrington.
He doesn't like being restrained in a restrictive (duty wise) defense.
i have no beef with lavar for ANYTHING that happened in his tenure here. (he did some dumb stuff, but it could have been overlooked) there is no denying his athletic ability. i have his jersey.
my beef isn't the fact that he isn't a redskin anymore. anyone could have seen this coming a mile away after the comments he made before the eagles game we needed to get to the post season.
but, all of that could be swept under the rug.
if you really want to get a good feel for the size of a brain that is bouncing around like a pea in lavars skull, you have to look no further than the fact that he still has carl '6.5 mil bonus' poston as an agent.
if this doesn't speak volumes, i don't know what does.

Glock .40 Model 22 - First* line of home defense.... 'ADT' is for liberals.
I heard him talking on AM980 and talking about how its best for the Redskins fans and Lavar fans so now they can keep rooting for whomever they want.
What he doesn't get is that once he leaves the Redskins, I'm not rooting for him anymore... none...zero, zip, nada. (See: Laverenues Coles, Rod Gardner, Antonio Pierce, Fred Smoot, Shawn Barber, etc...)
Another thing was his agent whining about how we mis-treated Lavar.
Excuse me ?? The guy had major offseason surgery and we keep him out of the playing every down the first part of the season (because we were a top 5 defense the entire year before when he was out) and then ease him into the lineup once he got his legs back and one he was back in the shape the coaches felt he needed to be and we mis-treated him??
Gimme a break !!!
He's dead to me now. I hope he doesn't go to an NFC East team because he still can play. He's just dead to me now.
He wasn't happy here that's all that matters. Both he and the skins din't exactly show tons of class in the whole situation.
That being said I like him and wherever he goes i'll still cheer for him(except Dallas). Of course when he is up against the burgandy and gold you won't here me chanting his name so much but hey thats the NFL these days.
