Denver at it again...

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Denver at it again...

Broncos | Team looking to acquire R. Williams?
Wed, 1 Feb 2006 06:01:30 -0800

Jim Berry, of CBS4News, reports two NFL sources say the Denver Broncos are interested in Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams, and might be willing to offer a trade. Reportedly, Dolphins head coach Nick Saban might deal Williams, if he gets back a high draft pick. Denver is also pursuing Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens and it is considered unlikely that Denver would acquire both Owens and Williams.

Those crazy clydesdales!
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

I understand wanting TO because Smith is done, but why Williams? I thought Bell was their future starting RB and Anderson is still dam good.

Ricky would be a heck of a fit for them if they got him.

Old Ricky, yes would be scary there. New Lil-Ricky is just like Bell, I think Bell has more up side. This past season his yards per carry was like 5+.

why on earth would denver need to give something up to trade for a high profile RB? as TMQ often jests, their helmets have a label that says "INSERT RUNNINGBACK, GAIN 1,000 YARDS".

They think they are a player or two away from the SuperBowl. They are not.

The Denver curse: No John Elway, no arrival to the SB ever again.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
