Laveranues Coles diary

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Laveranues Coles diary

Heading Into The Offseason
01/14/06

Now that the season is over I’m just enjoying spending time with my family down here in Jacksonville, relaxing and letting all the bumps and bruises from the season heal. I’m also getting to catch up with all the games each weekend as things head toward the Super Bowl and see who’s going to win that.

It’s a lot of fun to sit and watch knowing that you have a good understanding of the game, plus knowing a lot of the guys who are playing on all the different teams. You kind of wish you were in their situation, but at the same time you’re happy for them. You just sit back and root for the guys that you know and hope they do well and be proud of them.

Other than that, I’ll probably go to the Bahamas at some point in the next few weeks and spend some time relaxing in the sun, walking on the beach before it’s time to come back and start the off-season program.

Irony at its best. He left what he thought was he was walking towards and walked into what he thought he was leaving behind.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Then again, at least he's doing something he's used to this time of year. Wouldn't want the pressure of being in the playoffs mess with his annual trip to the Bahamas. My 2 cents

I was never big on Coles, even when we first signed him. Lots of ppl though it was a great move, I never liked it. I am also not big on players from FSU, it seems like as good as they are they don't really produce alot impact pro players, atleast not like Miami does anyways.

He could have been doing that with a nice new Plasma if he stayed with the skins.

If he stayed here instead of Moss, no way we would have made the playoffs. We would have been in the same situation as last year.

Actually yes he did. He was on Oprah and talked about it.

Most players keep journals on NFLPlayers.com. Has nothing to do with their past.

For instance, here's a journal entry from Derrick Brooks.

FSU= Free Shoes University, where english is optional.
