Here's an idea

In this thread, post things that were true the last time the Seahawks won a playoff game. It was 21 years ago in 1984 I believe.


Here's a start:

1) Reagan was president.

2) The VCR was new technology.

3) Computers ran on MS-DOS.

What's a VCR?

Actually, I hate these kinds of stats. They used to bring this up everytime the Redskins played the Cowboys before we broke the streak, as if the Skins had no chance of winning the game because they hadn't won a game in so long.

It's interesting, but it has no relevance to what happens Saturday. The Skins will need to play their best on both sides of the ball from here on out...

Chrysler introduced the first "Minivan".

Cell Phones first came onto the scene. They were bigger than most house phones.

Wow, that's quite a list of top movies. I don't think I've seen the Tarzan one, but I've seen the rest dozens of times.

i think chuck knox was their coach at the time too.
dave krieg curt warner,steve largent, man it has been a long time, oh brian bosworth was apart of the seahawks wasn,t he but not in 84.hey even the raiders coach tom flores was their coach too. i need to stop it,s been awhile since they,ve been in the playoffs.
since man invented the donut...... :lol: just kiddin but it,s been a longtime.

Of course, he wasn't "Hollywood" Hogan then. He didn't adopt the moniker until much later in his career. :wink:
