Making plans for next week...NOW!

Post by Punu »

Yes I'm doing this now... Why?
Because I would like to get some of you before you make other plans.
My goal in the begininng of the season was to round up us HOGS at the state theatre for the first pukes game. Well Redeem showed up and it was awsome. We started chants, had a puke doll with a rope around its neck, and were so loud it was crazy! Now, we have reached the second round of the playoffs! And I would like to attempt to get us together once again.

my man REDSKINS1974 figured out they play the games here... and I've been there with my wife, the place is great! Great table/booths/bars with a HUGE theatre screen.

Please tell me if any of you have a CHANCE of coming. Watching the second round with you guys and cheering our butts off in my mind would be priceless. Think about it.

TC - unfortunately I'll be in NY as well that day. Celebrating my wife's 30th b-day that day with her family. I'll have to record it and watch it later.

Punu Scott and I can probably make it. We were supposed to visit family in CHarlotte but I'm thinking we may push that back a week and see what happens. ;-) My uncle is a HUGE redskin's fan so if we get in, I have no doubt he'll want to get us all tickets.

I emailed the draft house and was told that it was a safe environment for children as well. He said there are always children there for games and it's a game like atmosphere. Jackson's been to enough games to be a pro. Just thought I'd add that tidbit for anyone else with kids. ;-)

We will post a definite response hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday.

Would like to go too...but a little far for us....and somehow I worry that our gameday rituals not taking place as usual might hinder our chances of winning...Hmmmmm...will think on it some more.

DId they mention if it is a non-smoking establishment?? I have some friends who might come, but they have a baby, and might be discouraged if they allow smoking. If you find out, please let me know.

Me, my wife, ans a few of my boyz will be there!!!

I'm heading to Deep Creek this weekend with friends and will catch the game from there. Enjoy the draft house! I wish I found that earlier in the season!! Maybe next one...

Have a good one

Hmmm, a house with 12 friends in Deep Creek with a 50 inch plasma, pool table, hot tub, sauna, surround sound - easy access to drinks and food and a couple days of boarding/skiing to boot or the Draft House... I think I've chosen wisely, lol!

Cheer loud without me... and I'll do the same from good 'old DC.

Punu, Deep Creek's a good time, btw. We go with this group of friends every year - you'll have a blast!

Umm, got room for one more??? 8-[

Just kidding. Sounds like you'll have a blast. I'm really psyched about checking out the draft house this week. Skins hysteria is at at 12-yr high (I wonder why ), and it should be a nice packed house. Add in the chance of meeting some fellow THNers...

It should be a ---to borrow a phrase--- "hella good" time.

Ofcourse not! Everyone should wear face paint if they can! It's crunch time! We need our best fans together and going nuts all in one place having the best time of thier lives!

When I was at the Bucs game last week there was a couple(guy and girl) both with face paint. At first I was thinking she looked pretty hot deck-out in skins gear and face paint but a guy with face paint, I was like :hmm: but after we got that quick lead and held it all game and won, he was like my best friend after the game. there were no other Skins fans around us, only pissed off Bucs fans so we had to watch each other's back. Anyways I am all for face paint.

Sorry we couldn't make it guys. WE were battling asthma attacks today and as much as we wanted to be there we couldn't take Jackson in a smokey area while he's having an attack. We're trying to find a sitter now so we can go to Redskin's park and support the team.

That's okay. I hope Jackson is feeling better; first things first, of course.

Apparently, Fios was there, but I didn't get a chance to set up a meeting with him, Sadly, he didn't wear his straw.

The drafthouse was a nice location, and I would be honored to cheer with some more of y'all next year during Skins road games and or some home games (for those of us who are not Season Ticket holders yet).

Hope to see y'all tonight/tomorrow morning.

Sorry we missed you guys Punu. Hopefully by next year we'll have this asthma thing under control and it won't slow us down nearly as much. It never seems to slow Jackson down but it's hard for Scott and I to slow him down.

Anyone have a rating on how well they did for hosting the game? I'd love to check out one there next year.

This was a great example of how not to behave - maybe this is how "classy" fans from "classy" teams behave on a site that is not their own?
It's going to be interesting to see how this "classy" team treats the NFL's MVP - I will probably be the first to pm this fan if his namesake does not get the incredible salary his 2005 numbers dictates he should get and that he deserves from his "classy" team.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
